§ 1INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

When you create an account, we collect:

  1. (a)Email address
  2. (b)Display name

When you use the Platform, we collect:

  1. (a)Forecasts and predictions you submit
  2. (b)Comments and other content you post
  3. (c)Transaction records (IDEA token purchases and usage)

1.2INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

When you access the Platform, we automatically collect:

  1. (a)Device information (browser type, operating system)
  2. (b)IP address
  3. (c)Pages visited and features used
  4. (d)Timestamps of activity
  5. (e)Error logs and performance data

1.3INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTIES

If you sign in using Google, we receive:

  1. (a)Your Google email address
  2. (b)Your Google display name
  3. (c)Your Google profile picture (if available)

We do not receive or store your Google password.

§ 2HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

2.1We use your information to:

  1. (a)Provide and operate the Platform
  2. (b)Process IDEA token purchases
  3. (c)Calculate reputation scores and rankings
  4. (d)Send service-related communications (account verification, updates)
  5. (e)Respond to your enquiries and support requests
  6. (f)Detect and prevent fraud, manipulation, and abuse
  7. (g)Improve and develop the Platform
  8. (h)Conduct internal research and calibration of prediction mechanics

2.2During the Alpha period, we use aggregated and anonymised data for internal calibration and testing purposes only.

2.3We do NOT:

  1. (a)Sell your personal data to third parties
  2. (b)Use your data for targeted advertising
  3. (c)Share individual user data with third parties for their marketing

§ 3REPUTATION DATA & ALGORITHMIC PROCESSING

3.1Your forecasts are processed algorithmically to calculate reputation scores using the Brier Skill Score methodology.

3.2Reputation scores are domain-specific and visible to other users according to your profile settings.

3.3We use zero-knowledge proofs for provenance verification. This allows cryptographic verification of forecast authenticity without exposing individual prediction data.

3.4By using the Platform, you consent to this algorithmic processing of your forecasting activity.

§ 4COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

4.1We use cookies to operate the Platform:

  2. (b)SERVICE PROVIDERS: With third-party vendors who assist in operating the Platform (see Section 5), subject to confidentiality obligations.
  3. (c)LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: When required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  4. (d)BUSINESS TRANSFERS: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.
  5. (e)AGGREGATED DATA: We may share anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you individually.

6.2We do NOT sell your personal data.

§ 7DATA RETENTION

7.1We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services to you.

7.2Upon account deletion:

  1. (a)Personal data (email, display name) is deleted within 30 days
  2. (b)Forecasting data may be retained in anonymised form for research
  3. (c)Transaction records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes
  4. (d)Server logs are retained for 90 days for security purposes

7.3We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (fraud prevention, dispute resolution).

§ 8DATA SECURITY

8.1We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

  1. (a)Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
  2. (b)Encryption at rest for sensitive data
  3. (c)Access controls and authentication
  4. (d)Regular security assessments

8.2No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8.3You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

§ 9YOUR RIGHTS

9.1You have the right to:

  1. (a)ACCESS: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  2. (b)CORRECTION: Request correction of inaccurate data
  3. (c)DELETION: Request deletion of your account and personal data
  4. (d)PORTABILITY: Request your data in a machine-readable format

9.3We may request verification of your identity before processing requests.

9.4Some requests may be limited where we have legitimate grounds to retain data (legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution).

§ 10INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

10.1Our servers are located in the United States.

10.2If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10.3By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

10.4FOR USERS IN THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA OR UNITED KINGDOM:

If applicable data protection laws require additional safeguards for international transfers, we rely on:

  1. (a)Your explicit consent to the transfer; and/or
  2. (b)The necessity of the transfer to perform our contract with you.

§ 11CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

11.1The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.

11.2We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.

11.3If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us at info@ideosphere.io.

§ 12CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

12.1We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

12.2Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on the Platform.

12.3The "Effective Date" at the top indicates when the Policy was last revised.

12.4Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
