§ 8REPUTATION & SCORING SYSTEM
8.1The Platform includes an experimental reputation and scoring system based on forecasting accuracy measured against market baselines.
8.2Reputation is calculated using published formulas based on the Brier Skill Score methodology. Details are available in our published documentation.
8.3Reputation is domain-specific. Your reputation in one category (e.g., Science) does not transfer to another category (e.g., Geopolitics). Excellence in one domain does not imply expertise in another.
8.4We will not retroactively change reputation scores for markets that have already been resolved.
8.5HOWEVER, we reserve the right to:
- (a)Modify the scoring algorithms prospectively;
- (b)Recalibrate, adjust, or reset reputation scores when transitioning from Alpha to production;
- (c)Correct errors in score calculation;
- (d)Invalidate scores from markets later found to be manipulated.
8.6Reputation scores, rankings, and metrics are experimental. We make no guarantees of fairness, accuracy, persistence, or consistency.
8.7Reputation has no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged.
§ 9MARKETS & RESOLUTION
9.1All markets and forecasting questions are created by Ideosphere. Users cannot create markets during the Alpha period.
9.2PROHIBITED MARKET TOPICS: In accordance with applicable regulations, we do not offer markets on:

- (e)Any topic prohibited by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
9.3Market resolution is determined by Ideosphere based on publicly verifiable information. Resolution decisions are final.
9.4During Alpha, disputes regarding market resolution will be handled manually. Contact info@ideosphere.io with disputes.
9.5We reserve the right to cancel, void, or reverse any market at our discretion if we determine that manipulation, error, or unforeseen circumstances have compromised its integrity.
